THE SECURITY STANDARD FOR SIDE LIGHT DOORS

Doors with side lights are most difficult to protect because they do not have a real jamb. The Door Armor Sidelight Jamb Shield screws back into the face of the jamb, in order to create the necessary rigidity. The Sidelight Hinge Shields attach the Side Light door frame to the top and bottom of the Door Frame. Please note: You might need to remove the trim along the face of the door in order to install this product.

The Door Armor side light door kits are intended for do it yourself installation. This video shows our CEO installing the kit. If HE can do it, we're pretty sure that you can do it too...

The Door Armor SideLight Jamb Shield is 40" long. It attaches to the lock side of the door jamb.

The Jamb Shield is cut with knock-out holes that are designed to fit locks spaced from 4.5" to 21.5" apart.

The Door Armor Hinge Shields are 17" L-Shaped pieces that install over the existing hinges. They secure the door to the top and bottom door frame. Sidelight doors are secured to the frame with small nails so this function is essential.

The Door Shields are essential for ensuring that the door will not split when kicked. Mini Door Shields can be installed in less than 5 minutes and do not require removal of the locks. PRO Door Shields can be installed in about 10 minutes and are best for doors with less clearance between the door and the frame.
